Mr.
Schroeder is currently a Director with the accounting firm of
Spear, Safer, Harmon & Company. His responsibilities include
the quality assurance and technical merit of the firm's audit
and accounting practice, including SEC registrants. He advises
companies and individuals of initial public offerings, business
structuring, taxation, SEC reporting requirements and general
consultation. Schroeder is a member of the American, Florida &
New York Institutes of Certified Public Accountants, South Florida
Manufacturers Association, Trustee Representative of the Greater
Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce.
Since
graduating from the State University at Albany (NY) with a B.S.
in accounting, Schroeder had practiced with McGladrey and Pullen,
LLP in New York prior to joining his current firm in 1995.
How
he became involved with the RFTSF:
I
became involved with the RFTSF due to my friendship with the Levy
family. I had been searching for a cause to become attached to
and when the opportunity to help these children and young adults
suffering with cystic fibrosis, presented itself, I was excited
to get involved.
